According to Mathieulh, CFW 4.00 will feature an in-XMB recovery, which allows modifications to settings straight from the Cross Media Bar (XMB). The second feature involves an advanced savestate feature, which would allow PSP owners to save their UMD game at any point, rather than wait for some form of a save point within the game.
No mention of a release date, or when we might get to try out these new features. Still, it's nice to see homebrew developers working hard to expand the functionality of the PSP. We'll report back when we hear more about CFW 4.00.
